Flower power in full bloom
Flowers have so many uses that I decided to honor flowers in this post. Flower power is there for all to enjoy. The world would be a dark and uninteresting place without flowers.
FLOWER POWER defined
I’m not talking about the 1970’s hippy era. There are much more to flowers than only that era. So let’s explore flowers.
SPRING TIME = FLOWER TIME
The other day I went for a walk with my dog Millie and the most beautiful white spring flowers grew at the side of the road. Spring is when the flowers blossom. Here in South Africa when have the Namaqualand flower season when natural field flowers comes out to play and what a festival it is. Flower watching is just one way to enjoy the stunning beauty and colors.

Chef Chantel Dartnell is a world renowned chef, classical French trained, who creates the most beautiful colorful meals with flowers being part of the art. You can also put edible flowers in ice cubes to create the most beautiful and delicious summer drinks.

FLOWERS ON PAPER ART
This type of art is much more known as I believe we all have at one stage or another put flowers inside the Bible or other books to dry them out. You can also make bookmarks, stationary and paintings with real flowers.
It is just beautiful to walk into a home with flowers in vases everywhere as well as in gardens. Flowers bring happiness and joy. Nature at it’s best.
I love flower fabrics and dresses and although they are mostly not made from real flowers, they are still beautiful creations.
